7 injured as gas cylinder explodes

Something like seven individuals were harmed as a gas chamber of a stockroom detonated in Khagrachhari area town early yesterday, police said.

In the impact, the distribution center dividers and adjacent shops were harmed in Khabongpuria region.

Of the harmed, five are distribution center laborers and two others are a businessperson and his better half.

The harmed were first admitted to Khagrachhari Sadar Hospital. Afterward, four of them were alluded to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.

Urmi Chakma, proprietor of a shop adjacent to the distribution center, said she went to the shop from her home in the wake of hearing a noisy blast.

Her shop was totally obliterated in the impact, she included.

Abdul Kader, station officer at Khagrachhari fire administration, said the explanation for the impact couldn't be known quickly.
